Subway Station


In Hong Kong, they have huge subways, for both, the Metro trains, and passages across roads and buildings. And they are maintained really well. However, what struck me most, was that these passages have special trails for visually impaired. You can see them in the pic - what looks like dividers are actually trails for them to follow. These trails lead to information boards in Brail as well. I was really moved to see that so much consideration was put in to building these subways. Whole idea of making visually-impaired feel independent and self-sufficient - reflects the value of life these people have.
